There were no major changes to our governance in 22/23 and we’ll continue to maintain our current governance and ownership set up, including our commitment to B Corp. Rebecca Smallchua is the sole director, and the company is owned 100% by Smallchua Family Trust.
In last year’s report we considered team equity or profit share, however, after discussions with the team it was not an important consideration / value to staff.
Initiatives for transparency and accountability
- Monthly Impact Update - team meeting where we share how we’re tracking financially, traffic light health check against our Theory of Change goals and a space for team feedback
- We make our financial spreadsheet (revenue, profit & loss, new business) transparent to the team and share updates weekly
- Values to inform our decision making - we evaluate clients, team members performance and recruitment against our values to remove any bias
- We share as much as we can about our impact journey to help others
- We are working on publicly sharing salaries to benchmark for equality and industry standards
In FY 22 / 23 we refined our policies & benefits, here they are
We're openly sharing them all in the spirit of transparency and maybe it'll help someone.
